SHA is beginning a $382,000 project to repair sections of damaged pavement on US 40 (Baltimore National Pike) between the Baltimore City Line and east of Ingleside Avenue in the Westview area of Baltimore County. The project begins on or about 9 a.m. Monday, June 13, weather permitting.
Single lane closures, traffic shifts, flagging operations and roadway patching work may occur along sections of US 40 at any time between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. SHA advises motorists to plan ahead for extra travel time along US 40 in the Westview area on weekdays, look ahead for flagging operations, and use caution while entering and exiting driveways and side streets.
The State’s contractor is Gray and Son, Inc. of Timonium. Weather permitting, the project will be complete mid-summer 2011.
